The word Ayurveda comes from the Sanskrit Ayu, meaning Knowledge, and Veda, meaning Life. It is known as The Science of Life. Ayurvedic wisdom teaches us that everything is made of the elements of air, space, fire, water, and earth – Though we are each a combination of all five elements, it is the ratio of these elements that determines our unique wellness needs. We are all mini-Universes.

Within Ayurveda there are 8 branches. Leah draws from the branch Rasayana (Rejuvenative). She provides students with the principles and tools to move towards balancing these elemental essences within and teaches how to live in alignment with the cycles of nature to nurture luminous health.

Sessions focus on nourishing and rejuvenating your skin, body and innermost peace. In consultation with Leah she combines extensive study in Eastern healing modalities with training in functional nutrition to guide you in restoring optimal wellness. Creating holistic beauty rituals and remedies that nourish you, inside and out, is a source of tremendous joy.

"I absolutely loved my time spent with Leah during the Lumi sessions...

Leah was wonderful at tailoring the  curriculum to include different areas of Ayurveda that each of us in the session were interested in, along with sharing her wide breadth of knowledge with us in an easy and accessible manner.  I felt like I could've taken the Lumi sessions for weeks and still it wouldn't have been enough time.  I can't wait to further my studies with a wonderful soul like Leah Adams.” - Dejia Burdock (Yoga & Barre Instructor)
