Just a ferry ride away from Vancouver lies this Galiano, the sunniest and wildest of BC’s Southern Gulf Islands, and Bodega Ridge, our home for the weekend, makes the most of its natural charms. Leah Adams will be guiding you through a full but relaxing weekend of thoughtful slow yoga flows, morning meditations, yin yoga, make it yourself workshop of dosha balancing teas and skin elixirs and more.

Meals will be prepared by chef Josh Blumenthal; he has spent time working in Vancouver’s most celebrated restaurants, as well as working in Michelin-starred kitchens in Europe.We will sip warm tea by the fire and explore how we can use the map of the Ayurvedic doshas to tune into the wisdom of the body. Beginning to recognize the qualities of the doshas can support us in creating vibrant health and creating nourishing rituals to support our own unique needs.

There will be abundant time for napping, hiking, and personal reflection. You can also choose to embark on fishing charters, kayaking, mountain biking (we have high end Kona bikes on premises), guided hikes and more. We can make recommendations or handle arrangements. This trip is open to people of all experiences and backgrounds.

This retreat weekend is handcrafted to combine yoga, Ayurvedic wellness and incredible food in an off-the-beaten path destination amidst natural Canadian beauty. Our weekend retreat theme is “Remedy of Ritual” — think cabin glamping in the forest, slow flow yoga overlooking the space where the ocean meets the shore, and evening yin yoga combined with creating rituals and remedies that nourish us, inside and out.

Our theme for this restorative yoga and Ayurvedic retreat in beautiful Tenerife is Ancient Wisdom for Modern Living. It’s an opportunity for people to decompress in a beautiful environment, practice slow flow and yin yoga and learn accessible ancient health rituals that can be integrated into daily life for radiant health. Come prepared for inner discovery as I help guide you through the practice of intentional nourishment. Together we will explore and create daily rituals to support living an Ayurvedic lifestyle. In Ayurveda this is called Dinacharya (daily routine) and we will work on how to infuse the little moments in every day to build up your reservoir of vitality and well being.

Stick your feet in the sand and take a swim in the healing waters off the coast of Spain while enjoying daily slow flow, yin, meditation and pranayama practices.

There will be plenty of free time and optional trips such as a walk through the Masca Gorge or an excursion to Mountain El Teide Volcano (highest in Spain) make this retreat welcoming to anyone interested in bringing mind-body balance into their lives.
